168 Calhoun Street
	OPENED: ?, PHOTO: 14 June 2008, ORIGINAL VISIT: 24 August 1999 This is one of the two original Charleston (not Charlotte, which always confuses me) stores, and certainly one of the neatest, with its homey facade and cozy atmosphere. If I were a student again, I'd certainly love to hang out here. As much as I enjoy Starbucks, I would have liked to have tried a breakfast prepared by the former occupant of the building, the Goodie House (according to a visitor to my site).


239 King Street
	OPENED: ?, PHOTO: 14 June 2008, ORIGINAL VISIT: 24 August 1999 King Street seems to be the destination of choice for weekend partiers. If you need a break from the throngs of people, though, escape into this charming two-story Starbucks for some people watching (and coffee).


E. Bay Street
	OPENED: ?, PHOTO: 14 June 2008, ORIGINAL VISIT: 27 July 2002 Not sure if they are still there, but when I visited this store there were some cool black and white photos on display.


King St & Calhoun St
	OPENED: 13 October 2007, PHOTO: 14 June 2008 A rare instance of a store without a "STARBUCKS COFFEE" sign... presumably a restriction imposed by the posh hotel.


South Windermere

Houston Northcutt

US 17 & James Nelson, Mt Pleasant
	OPENED: ?, PHOTO: 14 December 2005 Besides the pretty red trim, this is the only Starbucks to share a bathroom with a tire kingdom. And click 'More...' to see the best baristas at this store.
