This store was the first where I took note of a clock on the wall. And not just any clock, but a very special clock displaying the House Blend logo, and a story of how the partners pestered the manager so much about a clock that he finally made good in a clever way. They also said that clocks are atypical of Starbucks because they interfere with the "third place", but since noticing this clock, I have noticed clocks a many of the stores.
