Battleground Village

Lookie, lookie! Snow! I like snow... as long as it's falling somewhere else, that is. I took this photograph after one of the worst winter storms in North Carolina history. These guys had it pretty bad, but at least the aftermath made for some pretty picture-taking.

On a more somber note, this Starbucks location will always have special significance for me, because of the tragedy that brought me to North Carolina for the first time. This one's for my cousin Ruben, who passed much too soon.
