King & Union
Alexandria, VANow this is a choice store. Building it in the very cool Old Town Alexandria (worth visiting in and of itself) and inside a very old and historic building, Starbucks was wise to preserve the stone construction and the rustic wooden ceiling. The photographs of Alexandria's King Street in an earlier day are a great touch. I supposed it's appropriate that this is the 100th store in Virginia, since there are 100 pennies in a dollar, which bears the face of George Washington, who was a friend of John Fitzgerland who owned this building.
