"I coulda been a contender," were the cries softly emanating from the walls of this store. Actually, it really was a contender, but it missed out on being the first Starbucks in Germany by a mere five minutes. Perhaps somebody lost a coin toss? Still, with its stylish stone/glass staircase and expansive spaciousness, this store gives Pariser Platz a run for its money.
