While photographing this store I had a talk with the owner of a furniture store across the street, as well as the owner of the building, both of whom were quite pleased that the opening of the Starbucks has attracted business to this part of downtown Martinez. Note that this is not actually the original old city hall building, but was rebuilt after a flood.
